So, what went wrong? You ever see those rocket videos where the rocket just blows up without leaving the stratosphere? That pretty much explains it. The VIP's (free mints) were paper-handing, the gas price was high, and the community was scrambling. Within seconds the floor was below the mint price - a death spiral for NFT projects.

A lack of a discord / any communication was a catalyst for out of control fud, because there was no one to reassure you that you weren't getting scammed.
